AI & advertising disclosure

Our characters are AI

Coach Carol, Hank, Diane, Marisol and Grandma June are AI characters created by Porchside. Their faces, voices and videos are AI-generated. Their life stories (a retired PE coach, a retired carpenter and so on) are fictional character backgrounds, not real credentials.

The guides themselves are written and checked by the Porchside team, using public guidance from sources such as the CDC, the National Institute on Aging and the Federal Trade Commission. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by those organizations.

No fake reviews

We don't publish testimonials, star ratings or customer counts we can't back up. If we ever show a customer's words, they will be real, unpaid unless we say so, and shown with permission.

Ads and commissions

Posts that promote our own guides are marked as ads. Some posts link to other companies' products; when they do, we may earn a commission, and the post says so. Our guides contain no affiliate links.

Messages

Our characters will never message you asking for money, gift cards, passwords or personal information. If anyone using their name does, it's a scam. Please report it to us.
